MEET THE ORIGINAL SUSHI MAKERS OF MIKE SUSHI

Soe Min & Melissa Min

Soe and Melissa share a deep passion for sushi. They reside in Randolph, Massachusetts where they enjoy time with their two kids and four dogs. The duo has also lived in multiple cities across the US, which started the beginning of Mike’s Fresh Sushi.

From Yangon, Myanmar. Came to The USA in 1996. Determine to be successful Soe ventured into the Chinese cooking scene and became liking to the restaurant food businerees. In the late 90’s sushi was a new food trend. Soe Min loved Sushi. Soe decided to work for a Sushi Japanese Company to learn the trade of sushi making.

By the year 1998, found a sushi company name AFC and worked hard and became a sushi chef and kitchen supervisor. In late 1999 Soe has now worked for two major Sushi Companies AFC Sushi and ACE sushi and worked the corporate ladder of Regional Manager/Supervisor and taking management of over 100 Sushi Bars across the USA. As a Regional Manager, Soe was able to train sushi chefs and open sushi bar in the grocery chain Market across the US.

In 2005, Soe shared partnership with a Korean Restaurant but later departed because Soe was left with the Knowledge wanting to him to pursue a successful business of his own.  Since 2008 Soe has left the corporate world and working as a sushi chef of his own, Mike’s Fresh Sushi.

Melissa Min

From, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Melissa knows a lot about success from hard work and good work ethic. After getting her Business Law associates degree, Melissa pursued Business and Marketing School at the University of New Mexico. At the University Melissa met Soe and became a couple and then married. Through it all, Melissa always had a passion for cooking. Melissa even the mastered Soe’s traditional Myanmar dishes. With Melissa desire to extend her business skills and cooking skills she worked and extended her management skill and open a sushi franchisee with AFC sushi in 2003-2008. Since 2008 Melissa has learned the sushi culinary skills from Sushi Mike (Soe Min) and desire to build her own Company. When Mike’s Fresh Sushi was built in 2008 Melissa since uses her razor-sharp management skills to Mike’s Fresh Sushi running smoothly.
